COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS

Oakwood Library, Leeds

Oakwood Library, which stands diagonally opposite Oakwood Clock, was originally built as a private home.

Its life as a public library started in 1955, when the building also served as a police station.  In 1961 the police station vacated the premises and enabled the library expand.

The extensive facilities at Oakwood library now encompass a comprehensive range of services - see the full range at leeds.gov.uk
